Continue the worldwide recognition for Clay, the sculpture-table designed for Desalto by Marc Krusin and presented last April at the Salone del Mobile in Milan with great success since its first appearance.
Clay wins also the prestigious GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2015: the important industrial design prize awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design and sponsored by the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies .
The award, which is given to the most innovative products of the year, was created in Chicago in 1950 from an idea by Edgar Kaufmann Jr., curator and founder of the Museum of Modern Art in Chicago, in collaboration with architects and designers Ray Eames, Russel Wright, George Nelson and Eero Saarinen.
Yet another milestone that attests Clay one of the most interesting tables on the international scene in recent times.
Clay is a sculpture-table which was born from the meeting of two volumes: the floor and the basement, balancing each other. The special lava stone coating applied by manual tooling gives you an idea of ​​naturalness and is also ideal for outdoor environments where it creates evocative atmospheres.
