Styles contamination for a relaxing design bedroom

moodboard design camera da letto con arredamento contemporaneo

For a relaxing and stylish bedroom, we though of combining materials that express timeless elegance such as wood with fine fabrics. The sensation is of a warm and restful environment where you feel safe and completely at ease.

The main furniture of the bedroom is the bed and for this moodboard we chose Sottiletto, a hymn to the warmer and handcraft material: the wood. This product is enhanced by the expressiveness from the flexible slats, made on the same beech plywood flatbed, to offer maximum ergonomics. Sottiletto is a design project by Burtscher & Bertolini and is produced by Horm.

In combination with the bed, we chose the Solaio wardrobe, also entirely in wood, supported by a lightweight lining structure. It can have a closed part and an open side with hangers and shelves, such as a cabinet. Solaio is a series of products, made up of bookcases and cabinets, combined with a solid and elegant design. For this moodboard, we chose the open shelves version of the bookcase with a moka colored beech structure, to keep the wardrobe garments well folded.

To support our outfits or to enjoy a bit of relaxation we chose to match Redondo’s Moroso armchair. It is voluminous and rounded, perfect to wellcome at the first look and in contrast to the geometric layout of the bed and wardrobe. The armchair is covered in precious 3D fabric and marked by a three-dimensional geometric decoration realized through a quilted ornament.

At the foot of the bed we chose a white and blue handmade masterpiece: the Blue China round carpet in virgin wool from the GAN collection by Gandiablasco. You can not wait to put your feet in this hand-embroidered carpet, with beautiful designs which refer to the Orient, the land where the tradition of fine carpets is born.

To light up the room we chose Miniforms Kiki lamps. Their round shape fits well with the round rug and the voluminous armchair, are in ceramic and painted with pastel and velvety colours. We chose two of them, one green mint and one anthracite, hanging on two different heights to give some movement wherever you decide to put them.

And finally, to daydream, we chose the wallpaper by Wall & Decò, Notturno Blu, designed by Alessandro Gottardo, aka Shout, to give us a trip to the starry sky.

Let yourself be inspired by our moodboard for a cozy and relaxing bedroom. Choose all the furniture you like in our shop… and have a good design shopping! 😉
