The simplest geometric form, the circle, has never been as popular as it is now. From fashion, to art, from architecture to design, spheres and round shapes are used to delineate and give substance to creativity.

In China, in a city not far from Beijing, a futuristic library was designed and built, whose heart is a sphere surrounded by very long “terraced” shelves that take up its wavy pattern and contain books.

In Norway, at the foot of the Svart Glacier, has been designed a positive-energy hotel with a circular shape that is inspired by the traditional wooden buildings of Norwegian fishermen, the fiskehjell, used to dry fish, and rorbue, seasonal houses used by fishermen themselves.

If we go to fashion, there are numerous brands that have added polka dots and rounded shapes to their collections, such as this impalpable but with a clearly evident round shape dress presented last season by Giorgio Armani.
